I praise and thank you God for all your blessings - I adore you and glorify you my dearest Lord Jesus!!! :)

I am glad with the results of my News Media and Presentation Skills assessments. I will have to finish about 10 more assessments before completing my Communication and Media course -I am learning a lot indeed!

The next weeks will be an assessment day for each day, I suppose, besides my routine activities.

I praise and thank God for my husband's great birthday dinner at Sizzler last night, at Carramar! This is one of our family's favourite restaurants for quite a while now. We love the food there - the sizzling steak, the steak and salads and many more yummy food in the salad bar!:)

I have been praying for God's guidance and leading.

Christine's exams results are excellent - foremost is I thank the Lord!:)

God's blessings, His peace and joy be with us,

Praise God for our newest baby in the family, for family, life, health, friends, facebook friends...

I forever praise and thank you Lord God - I adore you and honour you my dearest Lord and Saviour Jesus!!!:)

I praise and thank God for my sister Ruby who delivered a healthy baby boy last Saturday. I talked to her yesterday and she and her baby are both doing fine! I continue to pray for their family, that the Lord will continue to bless and guide them in everything.

My beautiful quote is from Saint Francis of Assisi and he said,'Start doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.'

Having facebook and friends on facebook is a great thing, I have met and interact with my family and relatives, friends, my former friends, classmates and batchmates from school and university. I consider them my community that God bestowed to me and I love them in the love of Jesus. I take joy in communicating with them and sharing my thoughts and feelings and I thank them all for being friends.

It's my normal working day today and I'll be working overtime tomorrow as one fo the staff is off. I like my new branch and I enjoy walking around the Bankstown Square during my lunchtime and after work (sometimes).

I thank the Lord for all His blessings and His grace - for the life He gave,my family, relatives, health, jobs, friends and the community He bestowed in me and for everything!

God bless us and His joy and peace be with us,
Ruth :)xoox

Thank you LORD for another beautiful day!

I praise you and thank you God forever and always, I love you and honour you my dearest Lord and Saviour Jesus!!!:)

It's another gorgeous day today with the sun shining so beautifully.

My quote for today, 'It is not length of life, but depth of life', by Ralph Waldo Emerson. It's the depth of life in Christ indeed!!

For the first time, I connected my mobile to an internet yesterday, so what a great start to praise God on my first status update on facebook in my mobile this morning!

I heard wonderful preachings and messages and enjoyed listening to great praise and worship songs on Hope 1032 this morning , where I usually tune in to on Sunday morning, and will be going to Wesley Mission Praise and Worship 6 PM Service.

There's no outcome yet with the Australian Election. Liberal has won 72 seats in the Parliament and Labor won 71 seats, the other news said they both have 71, and in order to win the government, a party has to get 76 seats. At the moment, it's impossible to get that and the three Independents who won are said to be hooked up to each other and discussing who they're going to give their support or vote. And they might even ask the intervention of the Australian Governor General to negotiate or the possiblity of the repeat of the election.

I pray for the Lord's guidance and empowerment in Australian politics and that He will make Australia a Christian nation always.

I always rejoice in Jesus!

God bess, His peace and joy in us always,:)

Election Day - God continue to bless Australia!

I thank you and praise you Lord God for all your blessings, grace and care - I adore you and love you my dearest Lord and Saviour Jesus!!!:)

I'd like to share a verse and a Christian quote everyday and I'll start it today. Hebrew 2:1 - So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it.

Election Day today, a big day! A beautiful election day, it will be sunny! Exciting indeed! Enjoy sausage sizzles at local schools where you vote. I'll be voting after work. The Lord guide us and bless us! God continue to bless Australia.

I heard in the news that there will be around 14 million Australian voters!

The other day I rang the Christian Democratic Party (CDP) Office to tell them that I am willing to volunteer. I have volunteered two or three time before on Election Day and I find it fulfilling as I do it for Jesus and I help the party. I realised later that I'm working on Saturday now but I do my share in praying to Him.

God bless us, His joy and peace be with us,
Ruth :) x00x

Federal Election - God bless Australia!

I praise you and thank you God for all your grace, for all your blessings and care and guidance!!! I adore you my dearest Lord Jesus!!!:)

Tomorrow is the Federal Election. I will be voting for Tony Abbott of the Liberal Party. I believe that it is just righteous to vote someone who is a confessed Christian than the none-Christian. I've been reading the Christian Democratic Party's messages and the newspaper reports about Tony Abbot. CDP announced him as one who posesses a Judeo-Christian morality being their member before and their representative in the Lower House. The newspaper reports confirmed this - he made his stands for all the pro-Christian policies. He has been known to be anti-gay and lesbian, anti-abortion and name it.

I'd like to take note here on my blog the information I gathered about the benefits of families under both parties - Liberal and Labor.

From the Sydney Morning Herald:

What families would get under Liberal:

- Tax refund on school
- Reindexation of child care rebate $300 a child for families claiming maximum rebate
- Reinstate $12.6 million of funding for occasional care

From The Sun-Herald:

Liberal/Coalition Pledges:

- Provide upfront access of up to $500 of baby bonus payment in addition to first instalment payment.
- Simplify family tax benefit entitlements by letting families choose the value of advance emergency payments.
- The maximum amount will be up to a maximum of $1000 and advanced payments will be paid back through a 7.5 per cent reduction in subsequent fortnightly entitlements.
- Impement reform where young people volunteer to give up benefits in return for guaranteed jobs.
- Spend $10 million on an early warning bushfire system.

What Families would get under Labor:

- 18 weeks parental leave paid at minimum wage
- Tax refund on school uniforms
- Up to $4000 extra a teenager a year for families receiving Family Benefit A
- Earlier upront payment of $500 on baby bonus
- Families in financial difficulty and eligible for benefit A can claim an advance of up to $1000.

If Christine will let me barrow her lap taptop, I'll go on facebook and post election news and notes. If I didn't post, that means no computer.

I pray for God's guidance and blessings in our election tomorrow. God bless Australia!

God bless us, His joy and peace be with us,
Ruth:)xoox:)

In the morning

I praise and thank you God in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening and all the time - I honour you my dearest Lord Jesus!!!:)

I'm on Deuteronomy now in my Bible reading and I'm on Chapter 3 when God forbidden Moses to cross Jordan. I have learned that Moses actually beg God to let him cross Jordan, but God did not listen to him and He said, 'That is enough, the Lord said, 'Do not speak to me anymore about this matter.' in verse 26. What an amazing God indeed!!!

There are times like last night that I I felt the need to pray ernestly to God for guidance and wisdom as a parent, as a mother to Joanna and Christine. And if I am wrong in any thing, that He shows me the right way and with my prayer is that God will guide and give wisdom to Joanna and Christine. I prayed for this before many times, and when you have children who are growing up and are on their teens, you really have to be in communication to God on this subject always.
I always pray to God that Joanna and Christine will love Him and be faithful to Him always and will honour him always!

I pray to God for His guidance and wisdom to us in everything.

The Lord bless us and His peace and joy be with us always,
Ruth :)

A working day for me today, and up to Saturday!

I praise you and thank you God forever - I love you my dearest Lord Jesus!:)

Monday, then Thursday to Saturday are my working days, so today up to Saturday I'll be at work, all in God's blessings!:)

I was reading this morning again, that's after my daily prayer and praise and Bible reading, Chapter 6 of my Copywriting Book. It's so interesting that I can really apply them in my work in the bank, and I will apply them today. I have had many trainings on this through the bank's short courses and trainings, but this one in my book I find more concrete and even with their given examples.:)

I learned about this: AIDA - stands for attention, interest, desire and action - I have to create all these these among my customers in the bank.:)

The sun is shining beautifully today.... another gorgeous day in Sydney. Spring is just around the corner.:)

I praise and thank God for all his blessings, grace and care!:)

I pray that I will be a light the shines for Him at work.:)

God bless, and his joy and peace be with us,
Ruth

I praise and thank God always - I honour you my dearest Lord and Saviour Jesus!:)

My daughter Joanna and I went to Bankstown Square in the afternoon - Joanna had to deposit the money she owed to her dad at Bankstown Credit Union and since I had to renew my license I also went with her as there is RTA inside Bankstown Square where I work. It's a beautiful day to be outside also so I told her at around 11 am 'let's go together to Bankstown'! Also, it's a good idea so we can have lunch together, it's bonding time again!:) We had a a lovely lunch of pasta at Michael's coffee inside the Square, we both enjoyed it!:)

We went home after after Credit Union, I continued on my reading and Joanna went to the City and UNSW to submit her assignment.:)

I met Christine at the Liverpool Station at around 3:40 pm and we walked togeteher to her piano lesson at the Liverpool Academy of Music, near the station. Then we met at Liverpool Westfield after her piano. While waiting for her, I took the opportunity to buy Optus credit for my mobile.:)

We came home around around 5:30 pm, and it's time to cook dinner. I fried chickens and tortang bacon, it's yummy!:) Hon arrived at around 6:30 pm, naglakad na naman 'to, exercise!:)

I thank the Lord for all His blessings, grace and care!:)

God bless, His peace and joy to us, :)
Ruth:)

Thank you Lord for the peace and quiet...contentment

O God you are my God I will ever praise you - I adore you my dearest Lord and Saviour Jesus!!!:)

I thank my Lord for the peace and quiet....contentment!:) I heard His wonderful voice speaking to me and I listened to Him and knew His message and I thank Him indeed!:)

Hon and Tintin who usually go out early, before 7 am...are long been gone to work and school. After doing Tintin's milo, I went straight to my course reading, this is after my daily morning prayer and Bible reading. It's nice...I'm enjoying the peace and quiet. Joanna still fast asleep, hahah!:)

I woke up early today, that's the good thing when I sleep early. I went to bed last night at around 10:30 pm, an early one for me as for the last few months, I go to bed around 12 or 12:30 pm. :)

Continuning on my reading on copyrwriting, this book really makes me learn and think....think of my motivation in life. I'm on Motivation, it's about what motivates people to buy products and also discusses things like pyschological motives and appealing to emotion, and apparently I need to read up to the next 3 chapters before I'll do the first assessment, but I'm learning heaps. :)

In reading this topic about motivation, I can't help but relate it on my motivation as a Christian, particularly on what motivates me to share my faith to other people, just like sharing on facebook and in other places.:)

This is one quote from the book, 'As a copywriter, you must be aware of the reasons that motivate people to buy'.

I'm planning to go out to Liverpool CBD and Westfield for a bit today unless the bank will call me to work!:)

It's such a gorgeous sunny day, a beautiful blue sky up there!:) I have put my laundry on the line. It's nice to be outside too!:)

I thank you Lord God for all your beautiful provisions, not necessarily the material things, but all your blessings and for everything!!!:)

God bless and His joy and peace to us,
Ruth

My Tuesday - a bit different!

I praise you and thank you Lord forever - I love you and adore you my dearest Lord Jesus!

Having received my tax refund, I believe it's time that I pampered myself a bit, so I went to the haidresser at Smart Tops at Westfield Liverpool and had my hair done, I believe it's a bit long overdue now, although I had enjoyed styling it with different ponytails and pins the past weeks of winter.

I had 10 layers foil for my streak of brownish-blonde and a hair colour of medium brown. I love it!:)

Christine took some pictures of me for my new hair, well I asked her:)

It will be spring soon, so it's also timely that I want to have a shorter hair again, not too short because I don't like it too short, I like my hair medium length. My other half has his share by having his hair cut too!:)

Umeksena si Larry, umalis na naman at hindi agad ako binalikan, akala ko iniwan na naman ako, tinawagan ko para isabay ako pauwi!

I thank God for all His blessings and care!:)

God bless and His joy and peace be with us,
Ruth

Thank you LORD for the joy and peace you give!

I praise you and thank you God ever - I adore you Jesus!:)

I really thank the God for the joy and peace He gives me and for answering my prayers!:)

Reading my 'Copywriting for the Electronic Media' book is great because I'm learning interesting stuff and I particularly like what he said in the beginning of his book and I quote the author of the book, 'Writing is not an inherent talent that you either have or lack. With study and practice, anyone can become a better writer', by Milan D. Meeske of University of Central Florida. In God's blessings, I'll become a better writer and I am encouraged indeed!

I'm home today doing the reading of this excellent book and calling to pay bills.

God bless, His guidance with us,
Ruth

Thanking God, Assessments, Job

I praise and thank God ever, I adore you my dearest LORD JESUS!:)

I have about nine assessments to complete before I finish my Communication and Media Course. I would like to look for another work after this. I thank God for giving me a job in the bank for almost 15 years now, I have enjoyed it and have learned great things and I believe that I have been a light that shines for Him in my work and to my customers, though not all the time but I did try. I like to serve and help people indeed!:)

God bless, His joy and peace,
Ruth

My Saturday

I praise and thank God ever!:)

I thank my LORD for healing Christine, she is much much better, no more stomach virus!:)

I went back to work today, it's my usual work day, 9 to 1 pm. I actually like it because it's not the usual busy bank week day (psssst...), but not that I don't like the usual busy bank week day, I thank God for both of them!:)

Plus I get a chance to communicate, I don't call it 'talk' here, but 'communicate', meaning for me, I can have quality conversation customers, yay!!:)

After work, I went around Bankstown Square to look for trousers, I need to get a new one, the other one I have from the bank I would say is small, it's because I ordered such a small size. I looked for a 'sale', I got a good quality one, something I like at Kmart. It will be another two or three months before we will receive our subsidised uniforms from anz. Then I went to Westfield Liverpool, there I did my grocery shopping. :)

I'll cook dinner soon, and then do some assessments.

God bless, joy and peace,
Ruth
